Equine services
Individualised treatment
for every horse.
Every equine physiotherapy session begins with a comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment to evaluate your horse’s posture, conformation, muscle balance and development, movement quality, lameness, pain levels, muscular tension, and overall functional capacity.
Techniques We Use
01. Manual Therapy
Massage, myofascial release, joint manipulation and stretching to restore movement, relieve tension and address muscular restriction.
02. Dry Needling
Acupuncture needles are used to target trigger points and release muscular tension, particularly in hard-to-reach deep tissue areas.
03. K-Laser Therapy
Photobiomodulation laser therapy to accelerate tissue healing, reduce inflammation and provide effective pain relief.
04. MagnaWave Therapy
Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy that supports cellular recovery, circulation and pain management at a deep level.
05. TENS
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation to manage acute and chronic pain, reduce muscle spasm and support neuromuscular function.
06. Shortwave Ultrasound
Therapeutic ultrasound to promote deep tissue healing, reduce swelling and improve the extensibility of soft tissue structures.
07. Kinesiology Taping
Applied to support muscles and joints, reduce swelling and provide proprioceptive feedback between physiotherapy sessions.
Following treatment, you will receive a tailored exercise and rehabilitation program to support recovery between sessions, correct imbalances, and enhance your horse’s overall wellbeing and performance. We work closely with vets to ensure conditions are appropriately and safely managed for full and effective recovery.
